V pondělí 26.9. 2016 se v pasáži Lucerna konal již tradiční Speak- dating pořádaný Goethe Institutem v rámci Evropského dne jazyků. Lidé si v Lucerně mohli přijít vyzkoušet 19 různých jazyků, mezi něž patřila i čeština pro cizince, kterou vyučovaly tři paní učitelky z Albertova.
Welcome party for students at the beginning of the new semester is alreadyour tradition at Albertov. This time Mgr. Marie Poláčková, the director, welcomed students from 35 countries from all around the world and presented all the teachers. Some of the teachers then presented the culture programme which they prepare for students every semester.

Uvítací party pro studenty na začátku nového semestru je již na Albertově tradicí. Tentokrát paní ředitelka Mgr. Marie Poláčková přivítala v klubu PM studenty z 35 zemí světa a představila všechny paní učitelky a učitele. Některé paní učitelky potom představily kulturní program., který pro studenty každý semestr připravují.

Lekce na Albertově nejsou jenom teoretické, ale i praktické. Studenti ze šestitýdenního kurzu A1 už to vědí. Dnes si totiž vyzkoušeli mluvit s Čechy, kteří nejsou učitelé. Někdo na ulici loví pokémony, někdo Čechy. Všichni byli velmi úspěšní!
The new academic year 2016/2017 has officially begun! On Tuesday, our students went visit together not only the Headquarters in Vratislavova st. or the Municipal Library but also the Karolinum. Karolinum is cultural monument and the symbol of Charles university where students had lectures in the 14th century. Today they come there at the end of their studies to get their university diploma.
New students were welcomed in the beautiful historical auditorium by our director mgr. Marie Poláčková and Mrs. PaedDr. Radka Wildová, CSc.,the vice -rector for the conception and quality of education. Both of them wished students great studying and calm semester. Then all the students from ILPS study centres Albertov, Hostivař, Krystal and Liberec sang together the famous medieval student´s anthem called Gaudeamus igitur.
Nový akademický rok 2016/2017 je oficiálně zahájen! V úterý naši studenti společně navštívili nejenom Ředitelství ÚJOPu ve Vratislavově ulici nebo Městskou knihovnu, ale také Karolinum. Karolinum je kulturní památkou a symbolem Karlovy univerzity, kde studenti studovali už ve 14.století. Dnes tam chodí na konci studia, když dostávají univerzitní diplomy.
V krásné historické aule nové studenty přivítala naše paní ředitelka, Mgr. Marie Poláčková a paní PaedDr. Radka Wildová, CSc.,prorektorka pro koncepci a kvalitu vzdělávací činnosti. Obě studentům popřály krásné studování a klidný semestr. Nechyběla ani studentská hymna Gaudeamus igitur, kterou si společně zazpívali studenti ze studijních středisek ÚJOP Albertov, Hostivař, Krystal, ale i Liberec.

intenzivní kurzy na Albertově začínají již příští týden! Hurá! Než ale začnete skutečně studovat češtinu, potřebujeme s vámi osobně mluvit, zkontrolovat vaší identitu a získat nějaké informace o vás – Odkud jste, jaká je vaše motivace pro studium, jestli jste už češtinu studovali atd. Proto potřebujeme, abyste přišli na registraci, která bude v pondělí 12. září v 8:30 na Albertově.
Protože potřebujeme zkontrolovat vaší identitu a všechny informace, které jsme už od vás dostali při on line registraci, ujistěte se, že máte s sebou cestovní pas nebo nějaký jiný průkaz, kde můžeme vidět všechny potřebné informace. Také od nás dostanete studentský průkaz, proto si s sebou nezapomeňte vzít dvě pasové fotografie!
Po registraci studenti, kteří už češtinu někdy studovali, píšou rozřazovací test. Test má tři části – čtení, gramatiku a slovíčka a poslech. Pro každou úroveň je jeden test, takže to jsou dohromady čtyři testy. Každý test trvá 15 minut. Pokud dostanete z jednoho testu 12 bodů, můžete pokračovat a psát další. Když dostanete méně, půjdete na konverzaci se dvěma učiteli v češtině.
Jak dlouho registrace trvá?
Pokud jste začátečník, registrace pro vás nebude příliš dlouhá, ale i tak to bude nějakou dobu trvat, protože tu bude hodně studentů, které budeme registrovat také. Proto je vždycky lepší si neplánovat schůzku na 9 hodin ráno.
Když budete muset psát test(y), zůstanete na Albertově trochu déle, ale nemělo by to být více než 2 hodiny. Zaleží to na ostatních studentech, zda příjdou na regostraci včas či nikoliv. Zatímco budete čekat na registraci nebo test, můžete zůstat v „relaxační zóně“ a dát si kávu nebo nějaký studený nápoj.
Jsme si jistí, že byste rádi věděli, do jaké skupiny patříte hned po registraci, ale to není možné. Vždycky potřebujeme přemýšlet o nejlepší úrovni pro vás na základě testu a konverzace. A to chvíli trvá. Proto svou třídu zjistíte až první den, kdy jsou lekce.
V úterý je na Albertově informační den. Začíná v 9:00. Máme speciální jazykové skupiny – anglickou, německou, francouzskou, ruskou, japonskou, korejskou a čínskou. Číslo třídy, ve které ten den budete, najdete na nástěnce u vchodu. Ve vaší skupince dostanete všechny informace o škole, které potřebujete – kdy začínají lekce a jak jsou dlouhé, co byste měli a neměli dělat. Uvidíte také počítačovou pracovnu, knihovnu, kuchyň pro studenty… A potom půjdete na krátkou prohlídku města, kde uvidíte nejdůležitější místa v Praze. Samozřejmě budete moct mluvit s ostatními studenty nebo učitelem a můžete se zeptat na cokoliv potřebujete…

Intensive courses at Albertov start next week! Hooray! Before you actually start to study Czech, we need to talk to you in person, check your identity and get some information about you – where you come from, what is your motivation, if you already know some Czech etc. That´s why we need you to come to the registration which takes place on Monday September 12th at 8:30 at Albertov.
Because we need to check your identity and all the information you already gave us at the on line registration, be sure you have your passport or some other identity card where we can see all the needed information. You will also get your student ID so don´t forget to take with you two passport pictures of you!
After registration, students which have already studied Czech before will take placement test. This test has three parts – reading, grammar & vocabulary and listening and there is one for each language level, so there are four tests in total. Each test takes 15 minutes. If you get 12 points from one test, you can continue writing another one. If you get less, you will have a small conversation with two teachers in Czech.
If you are a beginner, the registration will be quite short for you, however it will take some time because there are a lot of students who need to be registered too. It is always better to not plan meetings for 9 am.
If you will need to write the test(s), you might spend there a while but it shouldn´t be more than two hours. It depends on the other students, whether they come on time or not. While waiting for the registration or the test you can stay in the “ relaxing zone“ and get yourself a coffee of some cold beverage.
We are sure you would like to know to which class you belong right after the registration but it is not possible. We always need to think about the best level for you according to your test results and the conversation. And it takes time. That´s why you will find your class on the first day of the lessons.
On Tuesday there is the information day at Albertov. It starts at 9:00. There are special language groups – English, German, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. You will find the number of the class you are in at the table by the entrance. In your group, you will get all the information you need about the school – when and how long are the classes, what you should or shouldn´t do, you will see the computer room, library, student´s kitchen… After that you will go for a short tour to see the most important places in Prague. And of course, you will have chance to talk to the other students or the teacher and ask about anything you need to know…
